ABSTRACT: Sirenomelia is a rare and lethal condition and its etiopathogenesis is unclear. The diagnosis is based on first trimester ultrasound showing a complete fusion of soft tissue in both lower limbs and other visceral abnormalities. We report in this article, the misdiagnose of sirenomelia as IUGR leading the other to continue the pregnancy until 35 weeks of gestation.
