ABSTRACT: c-Kit (CD117) is a type IIIa receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) that plays a key role in regulating the normal physiological processes of cells. In addition, the activation of c-Kit activates the tyrosine kinase signal transduction pathway, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of gynecological tumors, especially ovarian cancer. This article reviews the mechanisms of platinum resistance in ovarian cancer and the research progress of c-Kit in ovarian cancer.
