ABSTRACT: Hemangiomas are classified as endothelial tumors that are present in soft tissues. This report describes a case wherein a large intramuscular hemangioma was noted in the hand of a 53-year-old woman. The peculiarities of the case, ranging from symptomatology to the treatment used for the tumor, are discussed.
