ABSTRACT: We study the dynamics of a two-electron atom interacting with a pulsed, elliptically polarized, ultrashort, excited coherent state. We use path integral methods and integrate on the photonic part. We angularly decompose the Coulomb interaction term of the two electrons and the interaction term of the two electrons with the photonic field and solve the sign problem. We give results on the survival probability of the ground state of Helium.
