ABSTRACT: This paper investigates the simulation technology of a virtual elevator system that is close to reality. By building a virtual HMI elevator model and completing the modular design according to the elevator control functions, the software design of the elevator system is completed using TIA Portal V17 software, and functional testing is carried out to prove the feasibility of the virtual elevator test system. The system uses the Siemens S7-1200 PLC as the control core, employs virtual HMI buttons and I/O field control components to simulate data input, and designs and builds the elevator operation interface. The S7-PLCSIM simulation software is used for simulation configuration, and finally, the elevator operation system is simulated and monitored on the HMI. Through simulation testing and analysis, the virtual elevator control system can fully simulate the actual elevator and can achieve the simulation of real elevator operation control.Subject AreasAutomation
