  ABSTRACT: The inexorable advance of economic globalization has thrust cultural differences into the spotlight of cross-cultural business communication. These disparities, evident in thought processes, value systems, communication modalities, social practices, and temporal perspectives, frequently impose impediments to the efficacy of business exchanges. By employing Hofstede’s Cultural Dimensions Theory, this paper meticulously examines the underpinnings of cross-cultural business communication. A mixed-methods approach is utilized, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys with representatives from multinational corporations to explore how cultural dimensions impact communication strategies and outcomes. A case study contrasting TechInnovate and NipponElectro demonstrates how an enhanced cultural consciousness and reciprocal respect can surmount such obstacles, thereby enabling productive cross-cultural discourse. The findings underscore the importance of cultural awareness and adaptability in fostering effective international business communication.
