ABSTRACT: The musical “The Sound of Music” shows a good process of music teaching, and there are a lot of familiar classic music works from this musical. In the current teaching materials of compulsory education, this music is included in the teaching materials, which plays an important role in the process of the continuous deepening of music education. The purpose of this paper is to take the arrangement of the music curriculum as a starting point, discuss the educational wisdom shown in this work, and elaborate the inspiration that the music in this work brings to primary and secondary school teaching.
