ABSTRACT: With the continuous development of music education concept, Orff music teaching method, as a teaching method focusing on students’ participation and creation, has gradually attracted the attention of the Chinese music education circle. In the development of localization, how to make Orff music teaching method more in line with the characteristics and needs of Chinese students, and how to make Orff music teaching method enrich the connotation and form of music education through interdisciplinary integration, need to be solved urgently. Based on the research literature in recent years, this paper discusses the localization practice, promotion status and future development direction of Orff music teaching method in China, and also provides support for the development of the localization method of Orff music teaching method.
