ABSTRACT: With the continuous development and progress of society, the management of students in colleges and universities in the new era is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities. The article starts from the connotation and significance of the rule of law thinking, explains the important role of the rule of law thinking in the management of college students, then analyses in depth the problems and challenges faced by the management of students in colleges and universities in the new era, puts forward the suggestions to improve the rule of law literacy of college and university students, and looks forward to the future development of the rule of law thinking in the management of students in colleges and universities in the new era. The purpose of this paper is to provide reference and inspiration for the management of students in colleges and universities in the new era, to promote the comprehensive enhancement of students’ rule of law literacy and comprehensive quality, and to contribute to the construction of a socialist rule of law country.
