ABSTRACT: In the face of increasingly fierce competition for postgraduate admission, how to develop and optimize the strategies is worth exploring. This paper further explores the characteristics (innovative, interdisciplinary, applicative, etc.) and core knowledge (stochastic process, risk management, portfolio optimization, etc.) of financial engineering, applying them to dealing with the issues.
