  ABSTRACT: After experiencing the epidemic, various countries are striving to adopt various strategies to restore their economy, among which reducing taxes is one of the strategies adopted by many governments. However, the reducing taxes might cause some negative effects which will be analyzed in this paper. Moreover, this paper introduces the methods of improving the efficiency of tax reduction in economic downturns based on the evolutionary game theory, especially after COVID-19 pandemic.
