ABSTRACT: This study aims to analyse the circular economy as a tool to enhance the sustainability of supply chains in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030, applied on a sample of experts and stakeholders in the field of circular economy and food supply chains in a group of different Saudi factories. The descriptive approach was used in this study and relied on a questionnaire to collect data that serves the purpose of the study, as it included 60 food factory owners (30 fresh factory owners, 30 dry factory owners) representing factory owners from various sectors of the food supply chain. This objective of this study is to know the current state of knowledge about the circular economy and the challenges it faces. The study reveals the possibility of practicing the circular economy to enhance sustainability within supply chains.
