ABSTRACT: The selection of Riyadh as the host city for Expo 2030 marks a pivotal moment in the global recognition of Saudi Arabia’s cultural, economic, and sustainable development strides. This article examines the transformative potential of Expo 2030, considering its capacity to serve as a catalyst for intercultural understanding, tourism revival, and the advancement of sustainable solutions within the Kingdom and beyond. Drawing upon a comprehensive analysis of the planned initiatives and programs associated with Expo 2030, the study underscores the event’s alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of diversifying the economy and fostering a vibrant society.
