ABSTRACT: In the new media era, the internet has become an important front for ideological and political education in universities. Chinese excellent traditional culture plays a significant positive role in guiding college students, and excellent traditional cultural activities, as an important component of Chinese traditional culture, also have a positive impact on online ideological and political education. Universities should enhance the integration of Chinese excellent traditional culture into the online ideological and political education of nursing students by improving teachers’ traditional cultural literacy, deepening curriculum reform, carrying out a series of class and team activities, strengthening communication on online social media platforms to build campus cultural platforms, combining traditional culture with online culture to construct a comprehensive ideological and political education system in universities, and innovating the import mechanism of Chinese excellent traditional cultural activities.
