ABSTRACT: This paper primarily addresses the issue of educational inequality among children in impoverished regions of China and proposes policy measures to tackle this problem. The article highlights that the education gap for these children is mainly due to inadequate resources, subpar teacher quality, and unfavorable family environments. To address these challenges, it is necessary to reallocate resources and improve infrastructure, enhance teacher training and recruitment programs, increase community and parental engagement, integrate distance learning technologies, provide targeted support for vulnerable groups, as well as establish monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. These measures aim to ensure equal educational opportunities for every child while promoting equity in education.
