ABSTRACT: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is a heart condition that is widely known to be caused by stress. It presents with symptoms that are similar to a myocardial infarction even though the coronary arteries are clear. This case report details the clinical characteristics, diagnostic assessment, and management plan of a 55-year-old male patient with a past medical history of alcoholism who arrived at the emergency department with the typical symptoms of acute pancreatitis. The case demonstrates the progression of Takotsubo cardiomyopathy, which was triggered by acute pancreatitis in the context of alcoholism, and underlines the significance of early detection and management to enhance the patient’s outcomes.
