  ABSTRACT: In recent years, the topic of corporate social responsibility has aroused the attention and discussion of all walks of life. It is difficult for enterprises to exist independently from society. Corporate social responsibility means that enterprises take into account social interests while pursuing profit maximization. In this paper, Hongxing Erke, which donated 50 million yuan of materials for Henan flood in 2021, is selected as a case for analysis, which can better reflect the changes in corporate performance due to the fulfillment of social responsibilities. At the same time, it also puts forward that enterprises should realize that the performance changes brought by social responsibility can only be effective in the short term, so enterprises should formulate appropriate social responsibility strategies based on their actual business conditions to realize the coordinated development of enterprises and society.
