ABSTRACT: In a previous study, we developed a low density inorganic polymer based on industrial minerals and waste designed for in situ applications in the construction sector. In this paper, further testing and development of this new screed with thermal insulation and fire resistance properties is presented. The large scale tests of in situ production and fire-resistant properties are also discussed. The newly developed material succeeded at large scale fire test under the RABT-ZTV (car) fire curve and also was used in situ in large scale test in a typical screed application in a renovation building project using a typical screed pump.
