ABSTRACT: Suggestopedia is a language learning method developed by Bulgarian psychiatrist and educator Georgi Lozanov who believed that applying suggestopedia to foreign/second language teaching can greatly enhance learners’ learning efficiency and performance. In this paper, the definition of four stages of suggestopedia will be presented. Its application in kinesthetic, visual and auditory learners will also be elaborated on to show the effectiveness of suggestopedia in ESL/EFL classes.
