ABSTRACT: This research explored media coverage of the pandemic in the United States across two different administrations. The study revealed that both Fox News and MSNBC discussed the pandemic and utilized the five listed attributes, but the salience of these attributes varied for each media outlet. Key findings from examining individual sources showed the nuances of the media’s coverage and the differences in framing the pandemic across the two administrations.
