ABSTRACT: There has long been an interest in the relationship between EQ and IQ. In this study, over 6000 adults completed both a multidimensional, well-validated Intelligence (IQ) test (GIA) with five subscales (Reasoning, Perceptual Speed, Number Speed & Accuracy, Word Meaning, and Spatial Visualization) as well as a well-established measure of Trait Emotional Intelligence (TEIQue) with 15 subscales.
