  ABSTRACT: This article explores the effects of globalization on human rights in developing economies like Nigeria. It found that while globalization has brought economic and technological advancements, it has also caused human rights violations and increased inequality between the wealthy and the poor. The study suggests that for Nigeria to benefit from globalization, policies should be adopted that encourage foreign direct investment and increased access to communication and information technologies, which would lead to increased specialization and efficiency of labor, and technological and managerial improvements. This, in turn, would reduce job insecurity, price fluctuations, civil unrest, and other economic issues that disrupt the human rights regime.
