  ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is to identify mechanisms by which a negative epigenetic generational psycho-sequela that is debilitating to formerly oppressed communities can be overcome to facilitate collaboration and therefore rule of law and in turn capitalism, democracy and improved standard of living. Recent research identified that while cooperation is an obstacle, collaboration is essential for rule of law. Standard of living is measured by real per capita gross domestic product (GDP) adjusted for purchasing power parity (GDPppp). This in turn is a function of capitalism (C), democracy (D) and rule of law (R). Rule of law protects democracy and creates stability that attracts capital, and democracy creates additional pathways for the optimal deployment of capital to produce goods and services.
