ABSTRACT: This descriptive research in Cabanatuan City, Philippines analyzed the level of satisfaction of 134 employees in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The study’s findings revealed that the respondents were very satisfied with their working environment and satisfied with their personal growth and job content but only slightly satisfied with their enterprise condition and job return. The top 3 problems encountered by the employees in their SMEs were an imbalance between work and life, a disconnection between policy formulation and implementation and there is no reasonable talent training plan. These findings have implications for future investigations along this line.
