ABSTRACT: High concentrations of heavy metals (Pb, Zn, As, Cd)
were found in the vegetative and generative
organs of Paulownia tomentosa (Thunb.) Steud., 1841) in industrial production zones and along transport routes in Samarkand,
Samarkand region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The obtained results confirm
the potential of using this plant for phytoremediation purposes.
