ABSTRACT: By employing CiteSpace, a metrological tool and traditional statistical methods, this paper analyzes the research literature related to the C-E translation of Lu Xun’s works published on CNKI between 2001 and 2018. This paper focuses on the statistics of the time distribution of the number of articles published, the main publication carriers, the main domestic researchers engaged in the English translation of Lu Xun’s works, research units, and high-frequency keywords. This paper reviews the current status and development of research related to the C-E translation of Lu Xun’s works between 2001 and 2018 in China’s academic community, and obtains its characteristics, which aims to assist China’s researchers in better and more comprehensively understanding Lu Xun’s works, excavate the profound connotation in Lu Xun’s works, thus promoting the “going global” of Chinese literature in the new era.
