ABSTRACT: Until 2021, it has been a hundred years since the Communist Party of
China entered the stage of history. At the historic meeting, the Nineteenth National
Congress of the Communist Party of China focused on education in ideals and
beliefs. In this
context, publicizing red culture, transmitting red concepts, and guiding
college students to establish lofty ideals and beliefs are of profound and
long-term significance to the ideological and political education of
contemporary college students and even to the development of socialism with
Chinese characteristics in the new period. Based on the background of the
century-old party history, the article looks for the literature and materials
of many domestic scholars on ideals and beliefs, explores the current situation
of college students’ ideals and beliefs education at the present stage, finds
existing problems and deficiencies, and finds ways and methods to solve them in
a targeted manner. In
this way, the ideals and beliefs of college students are strengthened, and
positive and healthy thoughts are shaped, and they are regarded as a guide to
action.
