ABSTRACT: Nowadays, with the development of China’s media industry, more and more domestic films and TV plays go abroad and are favored and sought after by overseas audiences. It is very important for the translation of the titles of domestic films and TV plays. Based on Skopos Theory, this paper discusses the translation of titles of domestic films and TV plays and summarizes the translation methods in order to better promote them and spread Chinese culture.
