ABSTRACT: The purpose of the present study is to review the literature written about the concept of “Transfer of Language Skills”.The focus of the review was on the methodology used on the studies, which tested the concept, and the way scholars interpreted their data. Furthermore, a suggested methodology was presented to test the transfer of language skills in a controlled experimental condition that permits a valid and reliable testing of the concept termed Transfer of language skills (TLS).
