ABSTRACT: COVID-19 is a pandemic disease caused by 2019 Novel Coronavirus or SARS-CoV-2. As this disease is highly contagious and rapidly spreading, so all countries have to increase their level of preparedness, alert, and response to identify, manage, and care for new cases of COVID-19; laboratory testing is an integral part of this strategy. Accurate results by laboratory diagnosis are beneficial for public health.
