ABSTRACT: The spirit of Volunteer teaching in Western China is the embodiment of patriotism. Based on literature review, this paper explores its spiritual connotation and value of the times, summarizes the necessity and way of introducing the spirit to higher physical education. The moral education of physical education courses needs to be promoted through a good integration of the spirit of volunteering to teach in the west into physical education, thereby more talents of service-oriented and high-quality can be cultivated in colleges and universities.
