  ABSTRACT: This is the second paper in the series. The problems connected with the COVID-19 pandemic are of interest to all readers independent of the main aim and scope of the journal. In the series of the “COVID-19 Pandemic”, the author’s views and facts are presented and discussed. In the third paper in this series, we will discuss the usefulness versus harmfulness of the actions during the pandemic and several theories about the origin of the problem. In the paper “COVID-19 Pandemic, Part I”, it was demonstrated that the author has no doubt that viruses are living organisms like many other living organisms and are a part of the ecosystem. Viruses were the first living organisms that appeared on the Earth. Many of the theories accepted today do not represent the true state of the art about the appearance of life on Earth and the role of viruses. This paper will describe the author’s view about viruses and the interaction of viruses with other organisms, the harmfulness of a toxic environment as the trigger for epidemics, and the usefulness of medication for COVID-19 illness.
