ABSTRACT: This article aims to analyze how the textile industry in Ceará relates to other economic sectors, in the context of a Circular Economy. A multi-case study was carried out with semi-structured interviews with the managers of the textile industries in Ceará registered with the Union of the textile industry in Ceará, in addition to a survey of articles in the Scopus database, considering the keywords “Circular Economy” and “Textile”. The managers interviewed reported that they practice sustainability actions that relate to the concepts of Circular Economy, even though they do not have knowledge on the topic.
