ABSTRACT: Impaired visual acuity was the first presentation in a 32-year-old lady who was subsequently diagnosed as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) at 6 mon- ths post delivery. We report a rare case of Purtscher-like retinopathy in a SLE patient, its clinical presentation, funduscopic findings and response to steroid, panretinal photocoagulation and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF).
