ABSTRACT: The process of prose translation is a process of conveying aesthetics to the
fullest. Compared with the previous translation theories, Skopostheorie takes a
different approach, extending its research tentacles to the audience and target
culture in the target language situation. Based on the translation principle of
Skopostheorie, this paper analyzes the translation strategies of prose from the
perspective of Skopostheorie for reference and perfection.
