ABSTRACT: The aim of our research is to investigate why people need art education and why art education is important. To prevent people’s view of art education and prejudices and its effect on people in art education is investigated.Our research wanted to explain why art education is needed as an individual and as a society and to emphasize the importance of arts education. As a result of our research, we tried to reveal why art education is necessary and its importance and necessity for both individuals and society. Art education should start from pre-school and continue for a lifetime with art. It is one of the issues that need to be seriously emphasized
