ABSTRACT: Rastrineobola argetea (fishmeal) was compared to roasted soybean meal as protein ingredients for brood stock African cat fish (Clarias gariepinus) in March 2019 on Geossy farm, Uganda. The fish were observed for growth and reproductive indices. Brood stocks of average weight 327 g were fed on different feeds for a month. Feed A contained soybeans as the sole main protein source.
