ABSTRACT: With the prevalence of COVID-19, flexible working practices have gained wider appliance ever before. This paper has three objectives. First, it
seeks to develop a theoretical framework that encompasses the roots of gaining
popularity of FWAs, its essence and aims, and range of practical approaches to
flexibility. Second, it sheds light on the outcomes of practical use of
flexibility into workplaces. Third, it introduces challenges of FW on managers
and supervisors.
