ABSTRACT: With
the development of populous mobility and digital technology, integration of
acculturation and social media, which is represented by Social Networking Sites
(SNSs), is increasingly focused on by academia. With the keyword selection, 34
articles were collected. The structured content analysis was adopted to conduct
the review via mapping, assessing, and synthesizing the articles. It was found
that acculturation and related topics are closely related to social media.
Specifically, the integration of SNSs and acculturation is the trend of present
and future research. The research gaps based on the literature are also
proposed for future studies.
