ABSTRACT: In the era of knowledge economy, more and more organizations rely on employees’ proactive behavior to promote creativity, innovation and change and gain the competitive advantage of the organization. As for the proactive behavior, a large number of scholars have studied proactive behavior with the conceptual connotation, antecedent variables and action mechanism in different situations. This paper summarizes the main points of previous studies, on this basis, puts forward the way to improve employees’ proactive behavior and proposes some suggestions.
