ABSTRACT: Cystic renal neoplasms can be classified as benign and malignant, consisting of multilocular cystic renal cell cancer, cystic renal cell cancer, multilocular cystic nephroma and benign multilocular cysts. The objective of this article is to summarize the clinical aspects of multilocular cystic nephroma and discuss the major similarities that provoke difficulties in proper diagnosis and treatment.
