ABSTRACT: By reading the existing
literature and combining the Chinese reality, based on a literature review of the research results
on the relationship between election commitments and election behaviors, this
paper summarizes the existing academic achievements and finds that academic
discussion on the relationship between election behavior and election
commitment forms three perspectives: just a cheap talk view, determining view
and neutral view.
