  ABSTRACT: Psychological well-being is an important predictor for various health outcomes. This study aimed to test psychometric properties of the English- and Thai-version of the Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWB-S). Four convenience samples were recruited in Singapore and Thailand; and the English and Thai-version of the PWB-S were used. Data collection included paper-and-pencil and online self-reported questionnaires. Descriptive statistics and exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were performed to test the factorial structure of the scale. Correlations with external variable were utilized to test convergent validity. For all four samples, the PWB-S contained two distinct factors: The Autonomy & Growth (9 - 10 items) and Negative Triad factors (5 - 6 items). All four samples had acceptable fit indices and all factor loadings achieved statistical significance. All factors had significant correlations with external correlates and reliability coefficients were acceptable. Findings suggested that the English and Thai-version PWB-S had sound psychometric properties for Thai and Singaporean samples. Future research may use the English and Thai-version of PWB-S to assess psychological well-being among young people.
