ABSTRACT: In the international shipping business industry, the degree of industry concentration is more and more intensive. Pushing native shipping industrial integration is an important route to possess the advantages of the scale economy, and foster the leading enterprises. The study on the ownership structure and corporate governance of Japan shipping companies enlightens China’s large state-owned shipping company after integration.
