ABSTRACT: Viewing rapidly alternating aligned computer images permits easy identification of changes between two print states. Three Rembrandt print examples are presented; a general characteristic (increasing darkness) is noted; and a potential application for this new method (classification in an Internet-based worldwide print database) is discussed.
