ABSTRACT: The paper at first expounds two new concepts of sustainability degree and superiority degree, and founds a method of DEA of relative efficiency index to rank all decision-making-units having been identified efficient. On the basis of them, the definition and arithmetic are given to analyze them. Then seven input and output techno-innovation indexes which belong to six automobile listed companies from 2002 to 2005 are used to evaluate enterprises’ sustainability degree and superiority degree by vertical and horizontal calculation based on DEA method. At last, we get general conclusions about enterprises’ sustainable superiority degree by weighting calculation.
