ABSTRACT: In this paper, the research on biological characteristics, the immunological antigens of trypanosomes, the molecular biological researches on the mechanism of trypanosomiasis, and the study of chemotherapy on trypanosomiasis have been summarized. The prospects of trypanosome and trypanosomiasis have been provided.
