ABSTRACT: In recent years, more and more scholars have begun to explore the influence of institutional factors on the production and operation of the organization, and formed a new research perspective—institutional basis, and organizational legitimacy is the “core concept” of the new institutionalism theory. This article through the domestic and foreign related literature, systematically expounded the basic issues of organizational legitimacy, research perspective, dimension division and so on, in order to deepen knowledge and understanding of the organization’s legitimacy.
