ABSTRACT: Schwannoma, also known as neurinoma or neurilemmoma, is a benign tumor that arises from the Schwann cells of the nerve sheath. This neoplasm often affects peripheral nerves although it may occur in soft tissues. Vulval location is extremely rare. We relate the case report of a 45-year-old woman with history of vulval mass excised in 2012 and diagnosed as benign schwannoma. She currently presents with local recurrence.
