ABSTRACT: The isolated dislocation of the radial head is frequently described in the lesion of MONTEGGIA. However it can be a rare isolated pattern of injury in children. Only 81 cases were reported in the literature to our knowledge. The case we report concerns a 13 years old boy, examined 8 days after injury. Because of failure of manual reduction, we performed a surgical management with excellent results after a year of follow-up. We have discussed treatment option and the results obtained.
